Joy? What is it exactly? Some people classify it as being a happiness that's unspeakable, unbreakable and unmovable. Joy is a feeling of great pleasure and excitement...but when you have reckless joy? what does that mean? Here are some things that will help you understand what it means and how you can encounter "Reckless Joy."
1. Speak positively, speak life, speak about the things that bring you joy. Life can be absolutely tough sometimes (trust me, I know) but changing your dialogue can help with you that. The bible says, "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Proverbs 18:20-21. Your words can satisfy or destroy your spirit. Fill it with good food. Instead of saying, "Lord, I really don't want to go to work today" say, "Lord, I'm grateful that I have a job and able to pay my bills." I don't know about you..but having lights and water brings me LOTS OF JOY!
2. Be about "that" ACTION. After you say you have joy--believe it in your heart that you have joy and let your actions reflect that. Smile more, give more, do things that make you and others happy. Joy can come from your giving--don't be selfish. You can also pick up some new healthy hobbies, network, workout, read a book, etc. Choose to have joy in the lowest parts of your life. That's when the greatest parts about you begin to spark!
3. Final and favorite. Romans 15:13 says "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Trust in the Lord and he will give you all the peace, love, happiness, strength, healing and JOY that you need. Not even just those things, he can exceed all of your expectations just trust him. Since I know that God can do all of things I have no other choice but to have believe an have JOY! Reckless Joy!
